Virtual Primary Care for Pahrump, NV

We offer telehealth-only primary care for Pahrump residents, so you can stay established with a real provider without driving over the hill to the valley.

A Nye County problem the valley doesn't have

Pahrump sits about 60 miles from our office, and the only realistic route is NV-160 over Mountain Springs Summit, roughly an hour each way in good weather, longer when wind, snow, or a closure on the pass turns it into a detour through Amargosa. For a once-a-year physical that's manageable. For a monthly medication titration or a two-week blood pressure recheck it isn't, and that's precisely why so many Pahrump residents drift out of care between visits. We built a telehealth-only relationship for Nye County patients so the follow-up never depends on the pass being clear.

What Pahrump patients typically use us for

  • Ongoing diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol, and thyroid management
  • Refills, dose changes, and prior authorizations without a trip over the hill
  • Lab review after a draw at Desert View Hospital or a local Pahrump lab
  • Continuity for seasonal residents who split time between Pahrump and elsewhere
  • Many acute concerns, such as coughs, sinus and urinary infections, rashes, minor injuries
  • Mental health follow-up when appropriate, with referral for specialty care when needed

How we work around the distance

We send lab orders to a Pahrump draw site so you can go local and we review the results by video a few days later. Imaging is ordered wherever your insurance and travel plans make sense: Pahrump when available, the western valley when it isn't. When a referral is needed, we aim for specialists on the west side of town off the 215 so a single trip covers the appointment. Two chronic conditions can usually be managed for a year with zero in-person visits.

When you'll still need to come in

A complete physical with a hands-on exam, in-office testing, procedures, and anything urgent needs a room. Most Pahrump patients plan one trip a year for their annual physical or their Medicare Wellness Visit , and run everything else on video. For anything emergent, Desert View Hospital is the right first stop, and we'll pick up the follow-up afterward.
