Medical Weight Management

A medically supervised program that respects how hard this actually is, combining nutrition, behavior change, and modern medications when appropriate.

A real medical program, not a gimmick

Weight isn't about willpower. It's about hormones, sleep, stress, food environment, genetics, and, for many patients, biology that benefits from real medical support. Our weight management program is built around that reality.

How the program works

  • Comprehensive evaluation. We look at thyroid, blood sugar, insulin, cholesterol, hormones, sleep, mood, and current medications that may be working against you.
  • Personalized plan. Nutrition guidance you can actually follow, sustainable activity targets, and clear behavioral strategies.
  • Medication when appropriate. GLP-1 receptor agonists (semaglutide, tirzepatide), metformin, naltrexone/bupropion, phentermine, and other FDA-approved options, discussed honestly with side effects and cost.
  • Ongoing follow-up. Monthly visits during active weight loss, then maintenance check-ins. In-person or via telehealth.

Who is this program for?

Patients who want a long-term, medically supervised approach to weight. We work with:

  • Adults with a BMI of 27+ with weight-related conditions, or 30+ on its own
  • Patients with type 2 diabetes or prediabetes
  • Patients who've tried diets and exercise and need additional support
  • Patients post-bariatric surgery looking for maintenance partnership

About GLP-1 medications

GLP-1 medications (Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Zepbound) have changed what's possible in weight medicine. We'll discuss whether you're a candidate, walk through real-world side effects, work with your insurance on coverage and prior authorization, and monitor you carefully throughout treatment.

We do not push these medications. For many patients, they're the right tool. For others, lifestyle-first approaches or different medications fit better. We'll be honest with you.

What you can expect

  • An hour-long initial consultation
  • A written plan and lab work review
  • Monthly follow-up visits (in person or telehealth) during active loss
  • Coordination with your chronic disease care so medications are adjusted as your body changes
