Frequently asked questions

Do you screen for low testosterone?

Yes. If you have symptoms like fatigue, low libido, mood changes, or loss of muscle mass, we draw a morning total testosterone and free testosterone with related labs. If indicated, we discuss testosterone replacement, monitoring, and risks.

When should I start prostate cancer screening?

USPSTF recommends shared decision-making around PSA between ages 55–69, earlier for higher-risk men (African American or family history). We'll walk you through the trade-offs and order a PSA when it makes sense.

Can you handle erectile dysfunction in primary care?

Yes. ED is often the first sign of cardiovascular disease or hormone issues. We evaluate the underlying cause and treat with lifestyle changes, PDE5 inhibitors (sildenafil, tadalafil), and referrals when needed.

Do you do DOT and employment physicals?

Yes, DOT, employment, school, and sports physicals are available, usually same-week. See our annual physicals page for details.
