Frequently asked questions

Do you do Pap smears and pelvic exams in the office?

Yes. We perform Pap smears, HPV co-testing, and pelvic exams in-office on the recommended USPSTF schedule (every 3 years for cytology alone, or every 5 years with HPV co-testing for ages 30–65).

Can you prescribe birth control?

Yes, combined and progestin-only pills, the patch, the ring, Depo-Provera, and consults for IUD or implant placement with referral partners. We also manage menstrual concerns, PMS, and PCOS.

Do you treat perimenopause and menopause?

Yes. We discuss hot flashes, sleep, mood, bone health, and the risks and benefits of hormone therapy individually. Many patients are surprised how much can be done in primary care.

Will you refer me to a gynecologist if I need one?

Absolutely. For abnormal Paps, fertility, complex contraception, or surgical issues, we refer to trusted gynecology partners in the Las Vegas Valley and coordinate your care.
